DBE Management, LLC, doing business as DBE Utility Services (DBE) is a turn-key utility contractor that specializes in underground construction & directional drilling.
Our History
First and foremost, we are a company rooted in entrepreneurial spirit, collaborative teamwork, safety and technology. DBE is your full service, turn-key and design-build partner of choice. From our in-house engineering staff to award-winning partnerships with outside firms, we can hit the ground running saving valuable time & money. And because we are a self-performing contractor that also specializes in large diameter horizontal directional drilling (HDD), we can better manage the overall project schedule.
We maintain our headquarters in Loxahatchee, FL and currently have regional offices in Port Charlotte and Jacksonville – although you’ll soon see us throughout the southeastern United States. We are glad to assist with HDD project planning & engineering or discuss contract vehicles such as construction manager at risk (CMAR) or design-build.
Our Leadership
Our management team is comprised of tenured leaders whose goal is to provide a seamless construction experience, while maintaining a safe environment for our workers and the public at-large. We seek to best ourselves and grow our capabilities through continuous improvement and BMPs. At DBE, we strive to partner with project owners and their design teams to ensure open communication, a safe jobsite and on-time completion of our contracts. We’ve successfully completed time-critical, award-winning projects by multiple delivery methods, including design/build.
With in-house engineering capabilities, we’re regularly called upon to perform emergency repairs to critical public infrastructure. We realize the importance of resilient water and energy systems and have committed ourselves to this sub-segment of public service.
Dustin Ertle
President
Beginning his career with an educational background in civil engineering, Mr. Ertle jumped at the opportunity to be an entrepreneur. Founding DBE Management, Inc. and purchasing a drill rig in 2004, he quickly learned to navigate the company through differing economic conditions before scaling it into a large, prime contractor and specialty drilling company with expertise in subaqueous crossings.
Today, DBE is a leader in large-diameter infrastructure replacement that encompasses all facets of utility construction, both above and below ground. He is actively engaged with all facets of the business.
Dustin White, DBIA
Business Development & Operations
Mr. White is a licensed underground utility contractor with 20 years of marketing, business development & management experience. His background in the construction industry includes industrial & underground utility construction, MRO at power and water treatment plants, tooling & anchoring systems, and geotechnical engineering. As a certified Design-Build Professional®, Dustin spearheads alternative project delivery and team integration for our company.
He has experience in the public and private sector, including work with municipalities, investor-owned utilities and FERC regulated projects.
Tammie Alloe
Controller & Administration
Ms. Alloe is DBE’s controller. She has 20 years of experience managing corporate financial operations and administrative oversight. In addition to fiscal responsibilities, Ms. Alloe oversees human resources, company payroll, forecasting, project analysis and job costing.
She is an integral member of the team ensuring all company divisions are supported and compliant with applicable rules, regulations and internal standards.
